I joined Randstad as a receptionist, having graduated with a degree in fashion design. But my job has seen considerable transformation in the three years I have been with Randstad. Given a passion for data and reporting, I moved quickly into a back office role to help maintain sales operation reporting and provide creative support to the marketing team. Last year, I was given the opportunity to join a regional conference with senior leadership on Randstad's business concepts, to get more exposure into the common challenges confronted across the region, and the creative best practices applied by each business to support the sales team as true business partners. In June 2016, I was promoted to regional reporting & quality executive where I support Singapore and Hong Kong on database reporting and help drive business concept adoption. 

 

As a certified yoga instructor, I believe that progress and development can be achieved with continual strides. In yoga, this attitude of openness, steady mindfulness and consistency can easily be applied to the office. Yoga helps people to control their mind by breathing and discovering their inner peace. Particularly in an industry driven by sales, it has proven - for not only myself but many of my colleagues that practice - to reduce stress, stay mindful and focused at work. I'm glad I can bring this philosophy and my practice to the workplace,  share it with my colleagues, and continue to pursue my career as a data extraordinaire by day, and yoga instructor by night.
