I’ve been with Randstad for 6 years, in 3 different countries and have held 4 different job titles.

I first started with Randstad Australia as a temp consultant and was promoted to team leader, but after 2 years, I started getting a case of wanderlust. So I packed my bags and was offered an opportunity to work for Randstad Singapore where I changed my specialisation to permanent recruitment in Sales Marketing & Communications. As my first international move, it was exciting but daunting - it was my first time abroad, after all. Thankfully, my team welcomed me warmly. On my 4th year anniversary with Randstad, I found myself searching for something outside of sales.

I love this company and what we stand for. Randstad has always given me a lot of opportunity and chances, so I was extremely happy when the general manager of Randstad Hong Kong called me to discuss a different opportunity - more of an operations role - to launch their learning & training function as their L&D manager. This felt like a unique opportunity to expand my skills-set but also a chance to finally give back to a company which has given me so much.

As one of the world's largest recruitment companies, Randstad truly has the platform capabilities to invest in their staff's development on a local, regional and global level. Randstad doesn’t just say "we offer global mobility" - they actually practice what they preach. I'm thankful to have found an organisation which takes chances on their staff to develop themselves anywhere in the world.
